MOTD: Baltimore Ravens inspired look.

Last snow day, I decided to create a make-up look that represented my city. Since the Seahawks won, I figured out why not be in a football mood. I definitely am going to do make-up looks based on different teams. Look out for it!

Make-up used:

Eyebrows - Anastasia Dipbrow in Chocolate | Brow wiz
Eyeshadow: UD Vice2 | Naked 3 | 120 Palette
Lips: Lipgloss + Purple and gold eyeshadow
Contour: MAC Blunt
Mascara: Maybelline rocket
Eyeliner: MAC blacktrack

Have a nice day!

A couple of Saturdays ago, I did a shoot with Tricia (the same model for wrath) as her motherland Trinidad. It was definitely an enjoyable shoot. Enjoy!

Notice her earring. It also represents her mother land.

I wan't some more charms.

Hey guys, I am with the youth ministry of NSBC at the Camp of the woods here in Speculator, NY. Accompanying my husband as a guest speaker for this weekend. This is my third year coming to this retreat and I must say, it is definitely a refreshment from the busy life back home. Sometimes, a person just needs to go far away and breathe. From my first time visiting here, it's definitely a breather for me. The weather: It's new. Rainy and icy. Definitely not the same as the past two years because prior was snowy. It's a fun and slippery day as long as no one gets injured.

Anyhow, I decided to take a few shots since I have not upgraded my blog in a while. I was actually been meditating and praying about my photography lifestyle. I mean, it's not that its the "New Year" and I must have a resolution. But there's something exciting about starting anew. It's a psychological thing, I guess. Lately, I have been thinking that I never got into photography because I wanted to be a commercialized photographer. I have always wanted to become a fine art & lifestyle photographer. Taking shots of every day and simple things that inspires people to appreciate the simplest. And in that area, I lack tremendously. The thought has been drowning me for the past few months because the only time I do take lifestyle photos (which is a rarity) is with my iPhone. And the only time I get to use my fairly expensive camera is when I have a commercialized gig (which is worse because I am not getting my money's worth by utilizing it with my original intention).

I would like to take a moment and hit myself in the head because I seriously need to keep my camera with me at all cost. THEN, I can take lifestyle photos. I don't know why it's so hard for me to do that? I am my worst enemy. Here I am complaining about what I did not, couldn't and wouldn't do. Simply because I am too caught up with my conventional life to give time to let my passion grow into a bigger passion. Sigh.

My 365 photography was a bust. I stopped not even mid of the year lol. I just laugh and cringe at the same time. But then again, I was putting too much pressure on myself. Maybe that is one of the reason why I never succeed in any plans. And then I end up in a state of an uninspired life. So, I have decided to relax, breathe and put less pressure to myself (since I can't fully commit to a no pressure life overnight).

First night of worship and prayers.

The worship band. Yeah, Jake's in it too. lol

My husband leading games for the night.

In my breather space =)

I hope you enjoyed your Saturday! We're heading home tomorrow after one last session. 6 hour drive is originally the reason why I decided to venture out and accompany my husband because I did not want him driving those long hours by himself with his tendency to do a prep all-nighter, prior. But now, its a shared agenda; My mini get away retreat.

By the way, It's my husband's birthday today. He is now 28 and I love him to death!

Wish us safe travels! good night.

New Year's

Hi! Happy New Year! I have no serious resolutions. Probably just to be more on the artsy side rather than having conventional work suck me up! Life is too short when you think about it. It's like we just turned into 2013 2 days ago and now we are a year older. Sheesh!

I also would like to create looks for MUA since I've invested and been gifted a ton of make-up last year. I might as well put it to good use. Besides, who says you can only paint on a canvas frame? =)

I advise you to live your life to its fullest. Don't "yolo" the crap out of it though since "Yodo" as well. Be more aware and keen of things, people and your environment. Live healthy and by that includes happiness, breathing more, worry less and saying goodbye to apathy.

We went to the Cabbie's NYE party to celebrate the upcoming year. It was a fun get together with a bunch of lively people! Nikki did a mini concert and how I wish I brought my camera to take photos but it's cool.

By the way, this is my NYE's eye look.

Eyebrows: Angled brush + Laura Mercier caviar stick in cocoa | Eye primer: UD | Eyeshadows: outer corner - Mac Embark, Brown script, Folie and UD Blackout + Inner: Halfbaked, Verve | Liner: Mac Blacktrack gel | Mascara: Chanel de volume | Lips: Mac velvet teddy | Foundation: Estee Lauder DW | Blush: Milani baked berry amore | Bronzer: Chanel Terre Ambre

Hope you enjoyed your NYE! and I hope you will continue to enjoy the rest of the 365 upcoming days. Take it easy peeps!
